Blu Ionio

Il mio progetto fotografico si concentra sulla vita dei bagnanti lungo la splendida costa ionica della provincia di Catania, con un'attenzione particolare alla pittoresca cittadina di Riposto.
Riposto, con il suo porto caratteristico e le sue spiagge , offre uno scenario ideale per catturare momenti di vita quotidiana estiva. Le mie fotografie ritraggono i bagnanti locali mentre si godono il sole, il mare e la compagnia reciproca. Le immagini mostrano persone di tutte le età: dagli anziani , ai giovani che giocano spensierati nei lidi, creando un'atmosfera di gioia e vitalità. Questo progetto non è solo una celebrazione della bellezza naturale della regione, ma anche un omaggio alla comunità locale e ai semplici piaceri della vita estiva.
Attraverso le mie fotografie, spero di trasmettere l'essenza della costa ionico-etnea, evidenziando la connessione profonda tra le persone e il loro ambiente. Ogni scatto è un frammento di una storia più grande, un ritratto della Sicilia che vive e respira attraverso le sue tradizioni e la sua gente.
My photographic project focuses on the life of beachgoers along the splendid Ionian coast of the province of Catania, with special attention to the picturesque town of Riposto. Riposto, with its characteristic harbor and beaches, offers an ideal setting for capturing moments of everyday summer life.

My photographs depict local beachgoers enjoying the sun, the sea, and each other's company. The images show people of all ages: from the elderly to the young, who play carefree at the beach resorts, creating an atmosphere of joy and vitality. This project is not only a celebration of the natural beauty of the region but also a tribute to the local community and the simple pleasures of summer life.Through my photographs, I hope to convey the essence of the Ionian-Etna coast, highlighting the deep connection between people and their environment. Each shot is a fragment of a larger story, a portrait of Sicily that lives and breathes through its traditions and its people.
